Walking the city we observe and document gender specific power dynamics in public spaces. Based on the concept of a treasure hunt, the tour gives impulses to reflect on equal usage of public spaces from a female* perspective. On our way from Wedding to Schöneberg we create opportunities to intuitively and subjectively experience our daily surroundings.
Participants explore, observe and document by written words, sketches and photographs.
As a result, the final exhibition at Studio Genua is a collection of observations. It is also visible to all passing Flâneuses on Schwerinstraße.
The project is part of the Initiative DRAUSSENSTADT, funded by Berlin Senate Administration für Culture and Europe as well as by Stiftung für Kulturelle Weiterbildung und Kulturberatung
